Terms of use

What you buy, what you may do with a tool, when you get your money back and what we are not liable for.

1. Who we are

AI TECH tools are built and offered by AI TECH. We do not sell from this website. Every purchase is made on an external sales platform that is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues the invoice and settles VAT.

2. What you buy

You buy the right to use a tool, not the software itself, and you acquire no ownership of it. Some tools are a one-off purchase and keep working for good; others run as a subscription. Which one applies is stated on the tool's own page next to the price, before you buy. A licence covers one person or one company and up to three devices at a time. You can release a device at any time and use the slot elsewhere.

3. The trial version

The trial version has no time limit and does not expire. It is limited in scope and in features, described at each tool. It is intended for evaluating the tool: it has no export and no backup, entries made in it cannot be transferred to the paid version, and they are lost if you delete the file or clear your browser. We do not guarantee the same level of support for the trial as for the paid version.

4. What you may and may not do

You may use a tool for your own work, on your own devices, including commercially. You may not resell it, rent it out, offer it as your own service, or remove or circumvent the licence protection. You may not share your licence key with people outside your household or company.

5. Your data

Data you enter into a tool stays on your device and we have no access to it. Backing it up is your responsibility. If you lose it, we cannot restore it, because we do not have it. This is described in more detail in the privacy notice.

6. Refunds

We do not give discretionary refunds. That is exactly why every browser tool has a trial with no time limit: you can test it thoroughly before you pay anything. Where mandatory consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal, that right is untouched, and such a refund is handled by the sales platform as the merchant of record — its own refund policy applies and you can read it at checkout.

7. Updates and discontinuation

For tools sold as a subscription, you receive fixes and updates — including those needed when the rules change — for as long as the subscription runs. For tools bought once, updates are included for at least twelve months from purchase. We cannot promise a tool will exist for ever; if we ever discontinue one, we say so in advance and refund the unused part of any subscription. If you cancel a subscription, the tool drops to its free level, your records stay on your device, and backup and export remain available.

8. Our tools are not advice

AI TECH tools help you keep records and understand rules. They are not tax, legal or financial advice. For your specific situation consult an accountant, a lawyer or the competent authority. We work to keep information about rules correct and current, but rules change and differ between countries. You are responsible for decisions you make based on a tool's calculations.

9. Liability

We are liable for damage caused by a defect in a tool to the extent applicable law provides. Our liability never exceeds the amount you paid for that tool in the previous twelve months. This limit does not apply to intent or gross negligence and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page and announce anything important in the tool itself. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the tool; if it is a subscription, you can cancel it.

11. Law and disputes

Slovenian law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the law of the country where you habitually reside. We settle disputes amicably where possible; failing that, the courts of Slovenia have jurisdiction.
